DESCRIPTION:
Ithaca Calendar Clock Co., Ithaca, New York, "No. 1 Regulator". 8 day, time and perpetual calendar, center sweep seconds, two weight driven movement in a walnut case with engraved and highlighted dial mask and papered metal dials, s#20, dated December of 1891
CONDITION:
the case retains its original finish with very minor nicks and scuffs, primarily on base. The lower carved horizontal trim with the shield center is a replacement. The papered dials are beginning to lift slightly and the time dial has a small tear at chapter ring near 3. The pendulum bob with several small indentations. Incised and gold trimmed dial mask surrounding the dials is a modern replacement. The center sweep seconds hand needs a longer post to engage the center arbor. Ht 72"
